Police clearance certificate (PCC) is a service provided by the Criminal Police General Directorate by which a certificate is issued in Arabic or English (upon request) for a person stating that the applicant has no criminal records, and was committed to the law, and has never violated honor and integrity during his/her stay in the UAE. PCC from UAE is obtained in order to present it to authorities of other countries; for work, study, immigration, obtaining a license, or any such matters. It is a certification obtained from police to prove their good conduct in the United Arab Emirates simply a ‘Good conduct Certificate’ from the UAE government. UAE PCC is in digital form which can be utilized for any of migration requirements.
Process 1
This process is done if the candidate has an Emirates ID . Emirates ID is an identity card issued by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security which is a legal requirement for UAE residents to get government services, to travel within the GCC etc. The possession of an Emirates ID card is a merit, making the process easier to get PCC within 5 to 7 UAE working days.

Process 2
This is an alternative step if the candidate has no Emirates ID card.If the candidate are not residing in UAE currently then the candidate could get PCC by submitting a finger impression print from the mother country and this fingerprint needs to be attested by the UAE Embassy or Consulate

Normally two various departments are issuing the police Clearance Certificates from UAE Government. One is from the ministry of Interior and other one is from General Department of criminal investigation under Dubai police. In these PCC, the Authority will clearly mention the Name,Nationality,Passport number and Issued to country also..it will be a digitally signed certificate and does not required any stamp or seal additionally. This UAE Police Clearance Certificates are valid for three months from the date of issue.
